Truthfully most of the time I was staring at the screen doing nothing.

This week my class is reading a novel for fun.  It is called Kensuke's Kingdom, and we are supposed to make heaps of different DROs (Digital Reading Objects) to represent our reading. Today we made a new cover for the book! here is my one.

My 'Boy on a bike' drawing

First we read a story called ‘Boy on a Bike’ written by Bronwen Wall. It was about a boy travelling the length of the North Island, on a fat bike, to raise money for the St John Ambulance service.

fat bike = A fat bike is a kind of bike with wide tires, so that it can ride through soft substances like sand or snow.
